Assam and Meghalaya begins in Guwahati with visits to the sacred Kamakhya Devi Temple, Balaji Temple and Umananda Temple on the Brahmaputra River, before continuing to the picturesque hill station of Shillong via the scenic Umiam Lake. From Shillong, explore the breathtaking landscapes of Cherrapunjee, including Mawkdok Valley, Mawsmai Cave, Nohkalikai Falls, Eco Park and Seven Sisters Falls, followed by a day trip to Mawlynnong — Asia’s cleanest village — and the Living Root Bridge, along with the crystal-clear waters of the Umngot River in Dawki near the Indo-Bangladesh border. The tour concludes with a return to Guwahati for a peaceful Brahmaputra River Cruise and final sightseeing before departure, leaving you with unforgettable memories of temples, waterfalls, rivers, villages and the natural beauty of Northeast India.
